Power and Electrical Engineering 2026 proved once again that it is a premier platform for debuting industrial power equipment and connecting industry professionals. The event was held as part of the Russian International Energy Forum (RIEF).
This year, the Expoforum Convention and Exhibition Center hosted the Power and Electrical Engineering exhibition alongside Housing and Communal Services of Russia, Water Resources, Valves and Pumps, and the Corrosion Protection exhibition and congress. Thanks to the synergy among these events, experts from various sectors of the economy had the opportunity to gather at a single venue for the most effective exchange of experience on doing business in strategically important industries.
The official opening tour of the exhibition was attended by Vice Governor of St. Petersburg Sergey Kropachev, Rosseti Lenenergo CEO Igor Kuzmin, RESTEC Exhibition Company CEO Dmitry Nikitin, ExpoForum International CEO Nikolay Kozlov, and other officials.
Power and Electrical Engineering 2026 featured 58 companies from Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, and China. Exhibitors included manufacturers and suppliers of power, electrical, and lighting equipment, automation and control systems, and industrial explosion-proof electrical gear. The event also showcased energy-efficient technologies and solutions designed to optimize automated management of energy facilities and power systems. Key participants included Rosseti Lenenergo, Peterburgteploenergo, Kozlov Minsk Electrotechnical Plant (Belarus), the Rosseti Lenenergo Training Center, Impex Electro, ENERGAN, ElekomService, Sigma Corporation (Kazakhstan), Pskov Transformer Plant, TECHNOSHANS (Belarus), TECHNO-AC, VNIIR-Promelektro, National Energy Company, VELAN, RME Distributed Generation, and Spetskabel.
Continuing the established tradition, the exhibition featured a Presentation Zone, which hosted workshops, clinics, and corporate presentations.
Power and Electrical Engineering 2026 also introduced a new initiative: the Contract Expo program. This format was designed to facilitate efficient negotiations between exhibitors and specialized buyers, paving the way for new business partnerships and joint projects. Meetings took place directly at the participants' booths according to a prearranged schedule. The program’s effectiveness was clear: 22 purchasing companies held 231 meetings, over two-thirds of which (72.7%) yielded positive results.
In 2026, the events drew over 5,000 specialists, including representatives from leading energy companies and related industries. Attendees also included equipment and service providers for thermal and hydroelectric power plants, heating networks, and other industrial and municipal energy systems from seven countries: Russia, Belarus, India, Kazakhstan, China, Türkiye, and Uzbekistan.
Power and Electrical Engineering 2026 was coorganized by the RESTEC Exhibition Company and ExpoForum International, with support from the St. Petersburg Government and the St. Petersburg Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Media coverage was provided by Energetika i promyshlennost Rossii (Energy and Industry of Russia) newspaper as the general media partner, and the Elec.ru electrical engineering portal as the official media partner.
The exhibition was a successful event that promoted growth in the power and electrical engineering sectors, strengthened business ties, and facilitated the exchange of industry best practices.
