The manufacturers and suppliers of power, electrical engineering and lighting equipment, automation and monitoring systems and tools, industrial explosion-proof electrical equipment, energy efficient and energy saving products and technologies, as well as solutions designed to increase the efficiency of automated control of energy facilities and energy systems, including
the Russian companies "PLC Technology", "PSK StroyInvest", "Prosoft Systems", "INBRES", "Transneft Upper Volga", "TurboMashProm", "CHEAZ", "Minsk Electrotechnical Plant named after V. I. Kozlov", "Korenevsky Plant of Low-Voltage Equipment", "Pskov Transformer Plant", "EXPERT-CABLE" Cable Plant etc. showed their products at the exhibition.
It is worth noting that after pandemic restrictions ended, the number of overseas exhibition participants increased. Thus over 15% of exhibitors are from overseas countries, i.e. Belarus, Kazakhstan and China.
On the first day of the event, a delegation from the St. Petersburg government headed by the Vice Governor Sergey Dregval visited the Exhibition. They started from the St. Petersburg united stand which showed innovative products of "TEK SPB" State Unitary Enterprise, SPB "Lensvet" State Institution, Vodokanal of St. Petersburg State Institution and the Energy Conservation Center of the St. Petersburg’s Energy and Engineering Committee. The Vice Governor also observed the collective stand of the Zelenograd companies organized by the "Zelenograd Development Corporation" State Institution and the collective stand of "Lenenergo Rosseti", PJSC.
As usual, this year the Power & Electrical Engineering Exhibition included the Presentation Zone which was open for three full days and housed workshops, training sessions and presentations by companies, including the Centre for Science and Education "Ecology of Power Engineering" of "MEI" National Research University, Alfamedtrening, Safe Voltage Group, Moskabel, Rica Group, ZERS, Legrand, Southwest Thermal Power Plant, the Varvision studio etc.
At the site, there was the Business Contact Center, where 1,500 meetings between buyers and suppliers of energy products took place. The buyers included Izhora Pipe Mill, IDGC of North West, Power Machines JSC, LOESK, CHEP, TGK-2 PJSC, Sea Port of St. Petersburg and other companies.
The three busy days of the Power & Electrical Engineering 2023 exhibition produced good results, most exhibitors (according to the survey by the organizers) had a favorable opinion of their participation in the event, considering it to be a necessary investment into the business growth, while the guests had an opportunity to learn about new industry products, discuss critical questions and make successful contracts.
The exhibition took place with the participation of the Government of St. Petersburg and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Russia and received active support from the Union the "St. Petersburg Chamber of Commerce and Industry", the Research Center of the National Grid, EnergoInnovation Association of Innovative Energy Companies, National Agency for Energy Conservation and Renewable Energy Sources NPO, Association of default providers and power supply companies, Association "Nonprofit Partnership of Local Grid Companies", Association "the Council of Electricity Producers". Organizers of the exhibition: RESTEC Exhibitions and ExpoForum International.
The events held in ExpoForum simultaneously with the Power & Electrical Engineering Exhibition included the St. Petersburg Technical Fair, Hi-Tech Exhibition, InterStroyExpo, Welding, Municipal Housing Complex of Russia 2023 and Corrosion Protection international exhibitions at the ExpoForum Convention and Exhibition Center.
In 2024, the 31st Power & Electrical Engineering International Exhibition will take place in April at ExpoForum Convention and Exhibition Center.
