As part of the exhibition, major industrial manufacturers and equipment suppliers demonstrated solutions for automation of substations and distribution electric networks (multifunctional controllers), developments in relay protection and emergency automatics, cabling systems for complex industrial facilities, automated control systems for power facilities and energy systems, industrial explosion-proof electrical equipment, as well as solutions aimed at improving the efficiency of production and housing and communal services.
United stand of St. Petersburg showcased the latest developments of TEK SPb, SPb Lensvet, Vodokanal St. Petersburg and St. Petersburg Energy Saving Center, including the latest solutions for monitoring heating networks and equipment safety, as well as modern LED outdoor lighting equipment with functions of intelligent control.
Visitors could take part in the seminars and presentations, hold negotiations with business representatives of Nizhny Novgorod, Vologda and Tver regions, interested in cooperation with companies of St. Petersburg and the North-West region, without leaving the pavilion in the "Presentation Zone".
The Research and Expert Council of the Working Group of the Federation Council at the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation and SEDATEK company held a presentation on the implementation of fiber-optic technologies in the monitoring of high-voltage cable networks. The event was attended by representatives of FGCs, IDGCs, LOESK, Rosseti Lenenergo, and other enterprises and companies of the power grid complex.
At the workshop of the Digital Solutions Workshop Company, industry experts discussed the problems of planning and pricing in electric grid construction.
Digital Substation training simulator, presented at the Rosseti Lenenergo Training Center stand, attracted a lot of interest from visitors of the Exhibition; thanks to the presented VR and AR technologies it was possible to "visit" an active substation and perform technological switching operations.
Traditionally the Exhibition Program included "Suppliers' Exchange", during which the largest buyers - St. Petersburg Metro, St. Petersburg Vodokanal, SPb Gorelectrotrans, Fuel and Energy Complex of St. Petersburg, SPb Lensvet conducted initial talks with potential suppliers of energy, electrical and lighting products and technologies (Organizer: Center for development and support of entrepreneurship in St. Petersburg).
For the first time the Suppliers' Exchange Center held direct online negotiations with Chinese suppliers of industrial products, organized with participation of the Eurasian Center of High Technologies together with the Chinese business center "Huaming Park".
Power & Electrical Engineering 2021 Exhibition confirmed its status of the leading platform in the North-West region of Russia for demonstration of industry novelties and constructive dialogue between specialists for developing solutions in the field of power industry. The project has been carried out since 1993 with the support and participation of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, the government of St. Petersburg, the Council of Energy Producers association, the Franco-Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Russian Hydropower Association, as well as specialized enterprises and associations.
Over 5000 trade visitors from Russia and 7 countries (Belarus, France, Kazakhstan, Italy, the Slovak Republic, the USA, and the Ukraine) attended the Exhibition.
Several events were held concurrently with Power & Electrical Engineering 2021 Exhibition- Russian International Energy Forum (RIEF), St. Petersburg Technical Fair (STF), St. Petersburg Industrial Congress and "Hi-Tech" Exhibition.
Russian International Energy Forum hosted 18 business events, including two international conferences. 213 speakers made presentations, including representatives from France, Kazakhstan, and Slovakia.
