Resuts 2019
The Power & Electrical Engineering 2019 26th International Trade Exhibition was officially closed on June 28. Once again, it has proved itself to be a reliable and secure platform for business development, interactions between market players, and demonstrations of innovation and state-of-the-art solutions for the power sector.
The project's history dates back 26 years; today, it provides discussion and networking opportunities for all entities from the power sector. The exhibition featured products by over 200 Russian and international companies, including those based in Belarus, Germany, India, Italy, China, and Turkey.
Some of the participants included VELAN, a Russian manufacturer of explosion-proof electrical equipment; EKRA, a developer and supplier of advanced protective relaying and automation equipment; Electronmash, an enterprise developing and providing solutions for power distribution; ABВ, an innovative power equipment manufacturer; REP Holding, a leading Russian power machine building enterprise; PLC Technology, a provider of software and turnkey technical solutions for power engineering systems; the ProSoft Systems engineering company; NPK Morsvyazavtomatica, a developer of maritime and industrial electronics; Minel Energy, a company designing low carbon energy systems; ENERGO ALLIANCE, a company designing power generation and industrial facilities; the CHEAZ power equipment holding; and Shanghai Electric, one of China's largest companies specializing in power generation and equipment manufacturing.
The newest solutions by Russian companies were showcased at the Russian Export Center (REC) collective stand. The REC acts as a "one-stop shop" for servicing exporters and providing them with financial and non-financial support, which includes collaboration with specific ministries and government bodies. The exhibition stand brought together a variety of Russian companies with a key specialization in: designing and manufacturing automated power engineering equipment; designing power control systems; repairing power generation equipment; designing and manufacturing control and diagnostic tools for high-voltage switches and transformers. Trade visitors of the Exhibition were able to learn more about the R&D findings of such companies as Fidesys, Rakurs Engineering, Fereks Business Firm, TechnoAc Group, and Forcel.
11 companies also opened individual booths with REC's support: ProSoft Systems, Proton, Sherp, KNG, VP NTBE, REP Holding, PKF Agro, Express-Eco Filter, ABS ZEIM Automation, PPMTS Permsnabsbyt, and the Serpukhov capacitor plant KVAR.
For the first time in the project's history, the exhibition venue opened a Presentations Area. Several of the exhibitors — Rosneft Lubricants, Rittal, Energotest (Moscow), and NPO Kaskad (Cheboksary) and others — used this platform to hold very successful business events.
The business session on Cable Business 2019: Needs and Capabilities, hosted by the RusCable Media Holding and the RusCable.Ru portal, was of a special interest to experts. Over 80 participants contributed to discussing the industry's most pressing questions: how to give the consumer the very best, how to draw in new clients and make sales more effective, and how to succeed in the Russian cable market.
The Matchmaking Center was used to hold more than 700 meetings between the suppliers of power equipment, resources, and services, on the one hand, and Russia's major corporate buyers in the power sector, on the other hand.
